Overview
Hikikomori is today a problem that is recognized on a global scale; yet, the pathophysiology of this condition and the elements that are associated to it are not yet completely understood. The purpose of this investigation was to carry out a preliminary case-control study comparable to the one that had been done in Japan in France, and then compare those findings with the findings of the study that had been carried out in Japan.
